What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing. Your conversations, personalities, and models live on your device and never depended on a plan. Cancel and the entire local app keeps working exactly as before.
How does the usage allowance work?
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of online-model usage - $20 on Pro, $66 on Power - that resets on the 1st. Our model rates are the provider's list price plus 30%; that's the whole business model, stated plainly. Exactly what's counted (cached tokens cost less, thinking counts as output) is in the Terms.
Why is local free? What's the catch?
No catch: local inference runs on your hardware, so it costs us nothing to give you. We charge only where we carry a real cost - passing your requests to online model providers.
Do I need an account?
Only for paid plans. The account is a Flowsta account - the same decentralized identity used across Flowsta apps - and the free app never asks for one.
How do I sign in? What's Flowsta Vault?
Sign-in uses Flowsta Vault, a free app that holds your account on your device instead of in a database - so there's no password, and nothing about you on our servers. Install the Vault, create your account there, then sign in here and the Vault approves it. In Your Own AI the same Vault also powers automatic backups and signed exports. Fastest path: in the app, open Online Models and it walks you through everything.
